Prof Costenbader is Director of the Lupus Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and teaches at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health. She is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.   

Dr. Costenbader is Chair of the Medical-Scientific Advisory Council at Lupus Foundation of America and leads a multi-disciplinary group of medical experts to address unmet needs in research and professional development efforts on lupus.
