The Lupus Foundation of Jamaica (LFJ) is mobilizing support across Jamaica for our “Wear Purple for Lupus” campaign, kicking off the global fight against lupus by participating in the "Wear Purple for Lupus" campaign on Friday, May 9, 2025.
This initiative is part of the observance of World Lupus Day on May 10, with efforts to increase awareness, promote early detection, and support those affected by the disease.

How You Can Support the "Wear Purple for Lupus" Campaign
The LFJ encourages workplaces, schools, and organizations to show solidarity by:
Wearing Purple – Encourage staff, students, and team members to dress in purple.
Creating a Lupus Awareness Photo Space – Set up an area with educational materials and purple-themed décor to promote awareness.
Engaging on Social Media – Share a purple version of your logo and use hashtags such as #WorldLupusDay, #LupusAwarenessJA, and #PurpleforLupus.
Sharing Awareness Materials – Distribute lupus facts, testimonials, and educational content.
Making a Donation – Support the LFJ’s ongoing work in education, advocacy, and medical assistance.
